JOB SUMMARY
If you are a motivated, organized, AR/AP and Accounting professional looking for an opportunity to grow and join a dynamic team, we have an exciting role for you! This position in Anaheim, CA will manage the AR/AP and accounting for two Aerospace Manufacturing locations, one in Anaheim and one in Culver City. This position reports directly to the Group Controller and will have an opportunity for some travel to the Los Angeles area, and to work closely with the Group Controller on combining the businesses. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous AR/AP and accounting experience in manufacturing or similar fields and be comfortable utilizing a General Ledger/ERP system such as QuickBooks and JobBoss2 as well as organizing and reviewing data in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable including but not limited to, matching, and entering invoices into the General Ledger to correct accounts, processing check runs, requesting favorable vendor terms, and keeping organized files and processes.
- Accounts Receivable including but not limited to, entering cash receipts in the ERP system or QuickBooks, applying payments, following up on past-due invoices, generating sales invoicing and ensure matching, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Accounting including but not limited to creating and entering journal entries into the General Ledger, completing account reconciliations, and helping to generate monthly financial statements.
- Cashflow Management helping to support weekly cashflow forecast by updating spreadsheets and entering data.
- Integration Support managing General Ledgers for separate business locations and ultimately support the transition into one combined system.
- Audit Support assist Controller in generating data for annual audit.
- Analysis and Reporting extract data from the ERP system or QuickBooks into Excel to generate reports and data helpful for managing the business.
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirement:
- Previous AR/AP and Accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Prior experience in manufacturing or a related field
- Experience with the financial close process
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem solving skills and an ability to handle a high volume of transactions
- Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
- Ability to learn new skills and software applications.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.

1. Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.
2. Perform other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Position is based primarily in the office, with the possibility of limited travel as required. Possibility of remote work depending on the situation. May have periodic exposure to a manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, unique smells, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and other dangers associated with manufacturing (cutting, deburring, etc.). All locations have safety equipment and safety standards in place to help maintain a safe work environment.
