IT Technician
Full time
Location: Garden City
- Information Technology
- Provide front-line direct support via help desk to diagnose/resolve user issues.
- Mobile device management (cell phones, laptops, tablets, Mi-Fi, PC)
- Provision, installation, and inventory agency hardware/software.
- Assist in training staff as needed.
- Assist Sys Admin in mitigating vulnerabilities
- Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with annual computer/laptop rotation plans.
- Work with Sysadmin as a backup position and assist with projects as needed.
- Communicate areas of concern/trends to supervisor/sysadmin.
- Build relationships with all depts to aid in communication flow—focus on Compass as a whole
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Age 21 years old High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Computer Science degree is preferred, computer science courses will be considered.
- 5 years’ experience in information systems preferrable including Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365 admin, Azure, Hyper-V, VOIP, printers, and networking.
- Solid Fundamental Troubleshooting required
- Excellent interpersonal teamwork skills, and attention to detail is critical
