Job Description:

The North Fort Worth Production Assistant assists the Production Director in overseeing the weekend services, as it relates to live production, at the North Fort Worth campus at Compass Christian Church; this includes all production volunteers and all technical aspects of the services. Reports directly to the Production Director.

Working Hours:

25 hours/wk.

Tentative schedule:

Wednesday 1p-9p

Thursday 9a-2p

Sunday 6:30a-1:30p

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Audio, Video, and Lighting at the North Fort Worth campus for the weekend adult services and Wednesday Night Student Services.
• Help prepare presentation computers for services. This includes Sermons, Songs, Welcome, Announcements, & Backgrounds.
• Ensure all visual content (graphics, lights) for the weekend is properly loaded with the most up to date version and easily executable for the operator.
• Help schedule production volunteers.
• Provide technical support to other ministries and campuses as assigned by North Fort Worth Production Director.
• All other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by the North Fort Worth Production Director or Worship Pastor.

Shared Responsibilities:

• Assist with production needs (All Campuses) for internal (ministry)/external (non-ministry) events happening outside the weekend services.
• Run technical or production need for events (ministry and non-ministry) as needed or assigned

Technical Specifics:

            Audio:

• Knowledge and experience with digital audio consoles
• Help prepare stage for rehearsals, services and event with needed sound equipment.

Lighting:

• Knowledge and experience with the GrandMA2 and GrandMA3 lighting software is preferred
• Recruit, train and lead volunteers to successfully execute their lighting responsibilities
• Uphold the scheduled routine maintenance and upkeep set by the North Fort Worth Production Director

Video:

• Assist the North Fort Worth Production Director to recruit, train and lead volunteers and staff
• Experience with Live broadcast environment.
• Knowledge and experience with broadcast video equipment
• Experience with working in the Adobe Creative Cloud, ProPresenter, and Planning Center Online.
• Uphold the scheduled routine maintenance and upkeep set by the North Fort Worth Production Director

This position is part of the production team and will report directly to the Production Director.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Current with latest best practices of Volunteer Management & Event Execution
• Proven track record of being prompt and timely
• Work well with the production team and worship team to execute the weekend services at a high level
• High degree of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail
• Prompt response and resolution to constructive feedback from the Campus/Executive/Lead Pastor
• Good problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and avoid potential problems before they happen
• Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly under pressure and to adjust, when needed, to the changes in priorities or conditions of the fast-paced production industry
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and cooperatively as part of a team
• Ability to maintain constructive, positive relationships with co-workers
• Professional attitude and appearance; positive spirit and enthusiasm

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in a related field and/or 3 Years of related experience is preferred
• A solid understanding and experience with Live production in the Church
• Experience managing volunteers
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
