As a key player in our organization, the HR team enhances business performance by influencing strategic analysis and decision-making in various areas including organizational strategy, leadership, and talent management. Our HR Business Partner (HRBP) builds strong relationships with business and scientific leadership to identify people-related needs and collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver effective solutions.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic HRBP to partner with our Discovery Technologies and General Administration teams. The ideal candidate will be someone who can contribute strategic insights and innovative solutions to drive organizational growth. Strong business acumen combined with a talent for aligning HR strategies with business goals is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess Organizational Requirements : Deepen your understanding of client groups' needs through consistent engagement and interaction with leaders and their teams.
  • Utilize business insights and HR metrics to diagnose complex organizational issues effectively.
  • Identify root causes of workplace challenges including team dynamics and structural inefficiencies.

Suggest Organizational Enhancements :

  • Offer strategic guidance to managers on matters such as organizational design, capability building, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify interventions and shape effective solutions.
  • Proactively evaluate development needs for teams and leaders, recommending and implementing suitable initiatives.
  • Implement HR Strategies :

  • Act as a dedicated partner to client groups in execution of HR processes, including performance management, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Assist hiring managers with headcount planning, role definitions, and recruitment strategies alongside Staffing Partners.
  • Provide timely employee relations support in partnership with team leaders.
  • Leadership Coaching :

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in effectively coaching and guiding senior leaders to foster cultural transformation and improve employee engagement. The selected individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and possess exceptional problem-solving abilities and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation). Building and maintaining trustworthy client partnerships will be instrumental to success.

    Qualifications :

  • Over 10 years of progressive HR experience with a minimum of 5 years in an HRBP or equivalent role; experience in management consulting is a bonus.
  • Experience within a Biotech or Pharma context is preferred.
  • A background in supporting research scientists in an industry setting and / or expertise in drug development sub-functions is desirable.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws is essential.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Engagement with scientific leaders and managers is a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise across key HR functional areas, including coaching, employee relations, compensation, and performance management.
