Job Summary
Summary: The Accounts Payable Administrator will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks and expense reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Calculating, posting business transactions, invoice processing, verifying financial data for use in maintaining records.
* Clarifying questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.
* Obtaining proper information and data regarding invoice payments.
* Verifying and calculating all extensions and totals on invoices.
* Checking vendor files for any previous payments and assigning voucher numbers.
* Maintaining copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.
* Process vendor invoices for payment - using computer, making sure addition is correct and checking item prices against bid specifications, making sure there is no discrepancy in pricing.
* Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation.
* Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
* Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
