Job Summary
Summary : The Accounts Payable Administrator will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A / P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G / L, and process checks and expense reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Calculating, posting business transactions, invoice processing, verifying financial data for use in maintaining records.
- Clarifying questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.
- Obtaining proper information and data regarding invoice payments.
- Verifying and calculating all extensions and totals on invoices.
- Checking vendor files for any previous payments and assigning voucher numbers.
- Maintaining copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.
- Process vendor invoices for payment - using computer, making sure addition is correct and checking item prices against bid specifications, making sure there is no discrepancy in pricing.
- Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
- Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
