Position Title: Food & Beverage Director
Salary Range: $82,500 - $105.500
Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus Plan
The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Restaurant Services account. You will manage and lead a team of employees, maintain excellent client relationships, ensure profitability of the account, and foster talent development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate the department in accordance with approved budget, providing maximum value to clients
- E nsure superior quality food offered to clients
- Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients and other departments within the community
- Promote professional growth and development of the entire team
- Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with facility operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise
- Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience desirable
- ServSafe certification a plus
- Must be forward thinking, proactive, and face of the Company
