Job SummaryPrimary responsibilities to assist the Division Controller and Asst Division Controller in analysis and support of the Midwest Division finance area.General Responsibilities : Responsible for weekly closing of all lines of business systems- Ivend, One Market, One Cup and One WarehouseResponsible for analyzing data to assist in correction and working on the over / shorts involved in the businessAssist with acquisitions by reviewing and managing data and training new associatesTraining new associates and / or assist branches will all lines of business systemsEngage in the use of financial systems to collect and report dataAssist in month end close activitiesComplete excel spreadsheet analysis as directed Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred 2 years' experience in field of general finance and / or accounting and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general accounting functionsAdvanced experience in Excel (pivot, lookups, and other advanced formulas), ability to pull data together with an eye for formatting / presentationStrong communication (written, verbal and presentations) and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under minimal supervisionExposure / Knowledge of SAP preferredApply to Canteen todayCanteen is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
