Essential Duties And Responsibilities
As a Catering Supervisor, you will have a significant impact on the success of our catering operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- You will ensure proper service during catering events, including proper set-up, cleaning, and breakdown procedures.
- Work alongside a small team to successfully execute events, meeting expected service and quality standards.
- Responsible for set-ups for regular and special events.
- Ensures client and customer satisfaction.
- Assists in staging catering equipment and beverages for daily events.
- Breaks down events and returns the venue to its original condition by removing all food, beverages, equipment, and garbage.
- Maintains a clear understanding of all aspects of VIP services.
- Maintains QA/HAACP standards and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.
- The typical work schedule for this role is flexible and depends on the catering events. While most weekends are free, some weekend work is required for events.
- 2 years of hands-on food service experience, preferably in a catering role.
- Experience in catering events and working with event orders is required.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/ or related food service operations.
- Experience in supervising and training associates and temporary personnel is preferred.
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
