Job Summary
Fresh and Ready Food Group, a division of Compass Group North America, has a Regional Sales Director position available in the West. This position focuses exclusively on new business development in the West (California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Arizona).
You will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities, identifying, qualifying, and closing new business. You will also play a key role in growing existing accounts in the region. Working with the Fresh and Ready Food Group means joining a fun, kindhearted, passionate team that collaborates to achieve sales goals. We offer a positive work environment and outstanding growth potential.
Candidates with prior food and/or consumer packaged goods experience are preferred, especially within the Convenience Store or Breakroom Refreshment segments.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the territory database
- Develop a territory strategy to maximize sales
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key clients
- Prospect for new business
- Collaborate with the SVP of Business Development to achieve KPIs
- Work with Customer Service Managers to manage existing accounts and foster growth
- Bring a positive attitude and energy that wins business and inspires clients
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Build strong customer relationships
- Demonstrate a track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Understand sales cycles needed to close deals
- Apply a consultative selling skill set
- Exhibit high emotional intelligence
- BA or equivalent experience
- Proven, successful track record, regardless of area of expertise
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demeanor that inspires trust, engagement, and confidence
- A strong will to win
- Confidence in communicating with senior-level executives, both internally and externally
- Experience selling fresh and ready to foods preferred
- Ability to travel overnight to cover a large territory
