Key Responsibilities
- Support the Deputy Chief Clinical Officer of Psychiatry Services in various administrative tasks.
- Facilitate Medical Staff meetings and execute general clerical duties.
- Assist with processes relevant to medical staff for compliance with CMS and CARF.
- Act as the primary contact for the psychiatry team concerning the Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Compile and disseminate reports related to productivity and prescribing practices.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Department to ensure proper management of trainee documentation within the psychiatry department.
- Track and notify relevant parties regarding physician absences, meetings, or schedule modifications.
- Learn and utilize essential computer applications pertinent to job responsibilities.
- Monitor and process client discharges efficiently.
- Proficient typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.
- Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical environment is essential.
