- Aid communities in recognizing gaps in services and program offerings that address substance abuse and other risky behaviors.
- Assist in developing capacity-building strategies and actionable plans to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Engage with coalitions to establish comprehensive strategic plans that incorporate evidence-based programming and activities.
- Provide training, technical assistance, and timelines to facilitate coalition implementation of programs and services.
- Develop evaluation plans to assess the effectiveness of coalition efforts and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
- Network within the community to foster prevention coalitions that effectively address local issues.
- Support coalitions in seeking funding opportunities to enhance their initiatives.
- Contribute to the daily operations of the prevention department, ensuring continuity and fostering positive team dynamics.
