Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including health assessments, vital signs monitoring, and daily care for patients at the Crisis Stabilization Center.
- Administer and manage medications, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on physical health and medication management.
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with staff, patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Document observable changes in patients' behavior and physical conditions.
- Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Provide direct care to adults, including managing situations with agitated patients.
- Be available for mandatory overtime as required.
- Strong verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional cognitive, organizational, and emotional intelligence to navigate challenging situations.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple stressors and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid LPN or RN license in Missouri is required.
- An Associate's degree in nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of psychiatric experience is essential, with a preference for experience in hospital or acute care settings.
