Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care including health assessments, vital sign checks, applying dressings, and general daily care of patients at the Crisis Stabilization Center.
- Administer medications, oversee medication records, and manage controlled substances.
- Educate patients about their physical health and prescribed medications.
- Coordinate care among staff, patients, families, physicians, and pharmacies.
- Document and communicate observable changes in patients’ behavior and physical condition.
- Assist in various diagnostic and treatment procedures as needed.
- Mentor new employees on protocols and procedures.
- Participate in team and leadership meetings as required.
- Provide direct care to adults, including those in potentially agitated states.
