Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments by obtaining histories and vital signs, while meticulously documenting in patient charts.
- Equip exam rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Conduct venipunctures, EKGs, urinalysis, and administer immunizations as directed.
- Provide thorough patient education and instruction tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain patient files and records with the utmost accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners in minor surgeries and physicals, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Screen calls for appropriate referral or triage, relaying messages accurately.
- Ensure compliance with CLIA and OSHA regulations while upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
