The Director of Substance Use Recovery for OP Therapy Services is tasked with leading a team of therapists and counselors dedicated to delivering high-quality services within the OP Adolescent and Adult Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programs across multiple locations in the designated region. This pivotal role ensures adherence to utilization standards and oversees program development, all while aligning with ASAM standards. Collaboration with OP Directors and other leaders in Substance Use Recovery is essential, as is providing support to the DCCO.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality and continuity of therapy services in OP Adolescent and Adult SUD Recovery Treatment Services, including the treatment of co-occurring disorders.
- Oversee weekly face-to-face supervision of staff, maintaining necessary documentation for compliance and training.
- Collaborate with Quality and Compliance departments to identify and address coaching needs related to documentation and treatment standards.
- Engage in Utilization Review metrics including productivity, session length, patterns of care, and appointment management.
- Facilitate coordination with external agencies and contractual partners to support program operations.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings to promote communication, updates, and professional training.
- Uphold all professional, certification, and corporate ethical standards while assisting in the clinical orientation of new staff members.
- Monitor staff attendance and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Utilize reports to manage program effectiveness and efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of ASAM standards and compliance mandates.
- Ability to conduct effective training and development for staff.
- Proficiency in documentation protocols and treatment standards.
- Collaboration skills for effective partnership with outside agencies.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- Licensure as LCSW, LPC, LMSW, or PLPC is mandatory.
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in substance use recovery or a related field.
