Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage the medication clinic’s operations.
- Collaborate with Clinical Doctors and Customer Relations Specialists to deliver optimal patient care.
- Provide medication education and review clients’ needs for refills.
- Complete necessary documentation for electronic health records (EHR) related to medication services.
- Administer intramuscular (IM) medications, dispense samples, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with prior authorizations and manage the injection list, ensuring orders are current.
- Conduct vital sign assessments for every client and facilitate pre-diabetes screenings as required.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse and collaborative team environment.
- Valid GPN, LPN, GN, or RN licensure is required, with the expectation to pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
- High School diploma or GED is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
