Join Compass Health Network as a Nurse RN/LPN in our Outpatient Medication Clinic, where your expertise in nursing will play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to the communities we serve. This position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus as we continue to meet critical service needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the Medication Clinic, ensuring efficient scheduling and patient care.
- Function as a Case Manager, assisting consumers with pre-visit appointments and medication management.
- Coordinate up to 10 appointments daily, providing necessary support to residential nurses and clients.
- Prepare and adapt to scheduling changes, traveling to neighboring clinics for nursing coverage and training as needed.
- Review and discuss medication education sheets with clients and manage documentation related to their care.
- Administer IM medications, maintain accurate logs, and assist with prior authorizations.
- Conduct vital sign assessments and facilitate prediabetes screenings for clients.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and healthcare teams.
- Proficient in computer systems, with a broad knowledge base relevant to nursing practices.
- Ability to administer medications and maintain comprehensive records.
- High School diploma or GED is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Must hold GPN, LPN, GN, or RN credentials and pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
