Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate operations within the medication clinic.
- Collaborate with other clinics and regions as needed, with coordination by your Supervisor.
- Conduct medication education sessions with clients and assess their needs for medication refills.
- Complete all necessary documentation for electronic health records (EHR) regarding medication clinics and psychiatric consultations.
- Administer intramuscular (IM) medication, manage samples, and maintain precise logs of received and dispensed medications.
- Support with prior authorizations and maintain an updated injection list, addressing any side effects with clients.
- Measure vital signs for every client and coordinate pre-diabetes screenings when required.
- Maintain strong computer skills to assist with various administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications and software.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate/Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: GPN, LPN, GN, or RN must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
