Director of Coordination - Home Health Care

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a Director of Coordination. The Director of Coordination position is for a Licensed Home Care Agency in Brooklyn, NY. Qualified candidate will have extensive Home Health Care Director or Manager level experience and Home Care Coordination experience, preferably with a Licensed Home Health Care Agency. Bilingual Spanish ability, a plus.

About the Position:

• Responsible for day to daily supervision of all Service Coordinators and Coordination Dept. Operations
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of patient care services, assuring compliance with all agency and NYDOH regulatory requirements.
• Accountable for achieving positive patient outcomes and coordination of services.
• Providing the resources employee’s need and creating an environment that enables people to be successful.
• Ensure census/agency growth through excellent customer & employee service and assist with assuring that all Intake referrals are accepted under care/staffed timely.

Director of Coordination will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the coordinators who handle the schedules of the Clinical Staff
• Overseeing the schedules of workers
• Assisting in streamlining operations for the organization
• Training and oversight of Coordination Department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing, social work, or health care administration. OR Associate degree and four years of experience, Two years of work experience must be in supervision or administration
• Knowledge of home health agency regulations.
• Good organization, communication, and human relations skills are required.
• Self-motivation and independent decision-making skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and problem solve.
• Computer proficiency, HHA Exchange Program
