Insurance Solutions Advisor

Compass Insurance Group is a rapidly growing property and casualty independent insurance agency in Murfreesboro, TN, seeking a motivated Insurance Solutions Advisor to join our expanding sales team. As an Insurance Solutions Advisor, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and serving as a trusted advisor in helping clients select appropriate coverage. Role Description

This full-time, role at Compass Insurance Group in Murfreesboro, TN, is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with a passion for client engagement, business development, and insurance solutions. The Producer will work closely with our internal teams, leveraging resources and relationships to actively prospect, secure, and retain clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation : Identify potential clients through networking, referrals, and other methods to expand the agency’s market presence.
  • Client Consultation : Conduct needs assessments with new and existing clients to recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Relationship Building : Establish strong rapport with clients, providing top-tier service and acting as a trusted advisor on insurance matters.
  • Quote Preparation & Presentation : Gather client information, prepare quotes, and present insurance solutions in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Policy Management : Collaborate with underwriting and service teams to ensure efficient processing of applications, policy changes, and renewals.
  • Account Retention : Maintain ongoing communication with clients to handle inquiries, review policies, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with administrative and support staff—such as Customer Intake Specialists—to streamline the sales process and provide an exceptional client experience.

  • Qualifications

  • Sales Experience : Demonstrated success in a sales or business development role, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Insurance Knowledge : Familiarity with property and casualty lines; a valid insurance license required.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions.
  • Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple clients, leads, and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Proficiency : Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications; experience with Applied Epic or other agency management systems is required.
  • Self-Motivation : Goal-oriented mindset with the initiative to seek out new opportunities and work independently.
  • Educational Background : High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree or relevant certifications in insurance are required.
