We are looking for a contractor to manage all interstate transfers (ISTs) for the Georgia Army National Guard (GAARNG). This role will involve working with personnel managers, unit leaders, and NCOs to ensure smooth transfers for enlisted personnel and officers between states. Strong knowledge of ARNG regulations and transfer processes is required.
Responsibilities:
IST Coordination:
- Process interstate transfers for both enlisted personnel and officers within 5 business days, ensuring 98% accuracy.
- Work with Enlisted Personnel Managers and Officer Personnel Managers to assign ISTs correctly within 3 business days.
Outgoing & Incoming Transfers:
- Coordinate with the gaining state to facilitate outgoing transfers and ensure Soldiers maintain career progression.
- Verify that incoming Soldiers meet medical standards within 3 business days.
Follow-up & Verification:
- Confirm that Soldiers have reported to new assignments within 5 business days of transfer, maintaining 98% accuracy.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Upload source documentation into iPERMS within 2 business days, maintaining 100% compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Army regulations when coordinating transfers and dealing with Soldiers who fail to report.
Enlistment & Commissioning Guidance:
- Provide guidance on enlistment and commissioning criteria within 5 business days of inquiries.
Denial Memorandums:
- Process denial memorandums accurately within 5 business days.
Recruiting & Retention Support:
- Support the professional development of Recruiting and Retention Battalion staff and lead IST briefings.
Trend Analysis & Market Studies:
- Prepare and submit trend analysis and market reports, ensuring 98% accuracy in data.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Draft and manage documents and reports related to IST processes, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely submission.
Personnel Systems & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate use of personnel systems to meet IST requirements within 2 business days.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ARNG recruiting, retention, and transfer processes.
- Strong understanding of Army regulations related to personnel transfers.
- Experience in coordinating transfers and using personnel management systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
