Compass Pain and Wellness is seeking a skilled and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our dynamic healthcare team and lead our Functional Restoration Program (FRP). The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary setting alongside specialists in Pain Management, Psychology, Physical Rehabilitation, Acupuncture, Massage, and Chiropractic.
We're a mission-driven practice with the goal of eliminating barriers to quality care. We serve primarily industrial medicine (Workers' Compensation) patients with delayed recovery chronic pain issues. We provide inspired treatment at the forefront of the biopsychosocial model to help people overcome their chronic pain and return to the things they love most.
Our ideal PT will be excited about learning how to build and administer an FRP program. Experience in Workers' Compensation or FRPs is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute pain conditions.
- Lead group classes about physical medicine strategies, coping skills, and preventive care.
- Perform one-on-one physical therapy assessments and treatment to chronic pain patients.
- Collaborate with MDs, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Monitor patient progress, including measurements, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Understand relevant treatment guidelines to get patients authorized for services.
- Draft compelling medical reports and evaluations.
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (board certification a plus).
- Valid medical license to practice in California.
- Experience with chronic pain patients and acute injuries.
- Experience in Workers' Compensation or with Functional Restoration Programs a plus, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
