A global automotive OEM is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team.

Requirements
- Requires a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Additionally, must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
- Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures.
- Work with suppliers to assure parts / services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
- Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
- Ability to report research and test results in various technical formats. A
- Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals.
- Five years of engineering experience making 3D designs and 2D drawings of automotive components from initial concept through mass production.
- Responsibilities to include : design feasibility, cost analysis, strength calculations, part construction, part specification, scheduling and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned systems. V5 & V6 experience preferred
