Carolina Caring is seeking a compassionate Medical Social Worker (MSW or BSW) to support our Palliative Medicine and House Calls programs in the Charlotte and Mecklenburg County region. This position provides care to patients and families, helping navigate the complexities of serious illness with dignity and support. The office is located in Gaston County, NC, although the role requires traveling throughout the Charlotte and Mecklenburg areas.
Full-time Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Full-time positions offer an excellent benefit package with paid time off and mileage reimbursement.
Education:
Master of Social Work (MSW) or Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of social work experience in a health care setting required. Palliative Care, Hospice or Home Health care experience preferred.
