Job Overview:
As a Chaplain, you will provide spiritual and emotional support to individuals and their families during times of need. You will offer counseling, guidance, and comfort in various settings, such as hospitals, hospices, or community organizations.
Duties:
- Provide spiritual care and support to patients, families, and staff
- Conduct religious services, prayers, and rituals as needed
- Offer bereavement support and assist with end-of-life discussions
- Mentor individuals facing crisis situations
- Perform Christian counseling and lead discussions on faith-related topics
- Manage conflicts within the community or organization
- Write reports and maintain documentation of interactions
Requirements:
- Experience in hospice care or crisis management is preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to provide bereavement support with empathy
- Proficiency in conflict management and crisis intervention
- Certification or degree in chaplaincy or related field is a plus
