This position is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports. This role involves analyzing accounts payable data, reconciling discrepancies, and working closely with vendors and internal departments to maintain efficient payment practices.
What you will do :
- Process and review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with company policies. This includes matching, coding, inputting, routing and releasing for payment.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors while maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Reconcile accounts payable discrepancies by investigating invoice and payment issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment-related queries and disputes.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, including aging schedules and accruals, to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including AP account reconciliations, tracking recurring invoices and preparing journal entries for accrual of service billings and non-inventoried items.
- Oversees year end processes such as 1099 and unclaimed property reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested AP documentation and reports
