Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Listen to customer concerns and document their service requests accurately.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required, including oil changes, mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics.
- Collaborate with mechanics to ensure proper alignment of services requested and services performed.
- Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of the service department effectively.
- Prepare estimates for repairs and communicate them clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
- Stay informed about new products, services, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive service or repair preferred.
- Familiarity with air brake systems, suspension components, alignment procedures, and general automotive diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information in an understandable manner.
- Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and scheduling purposes.
