What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Mechanic-Mobile position at Complete Building Services?
About the Role
The HVAC Mechanic shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience. This position requires travel to multiple sites throughout Northern Virginia. A company truck and gas card are included. The shift is Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with overtime as required.
- Operate and perform Preventive Maintenance of HVAC systems and subsystems
- Perform Refrigerant recovery and recycling
- Operate Building Energy Management System (EMS) and associated building controls
- Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
- Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
- Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
- Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
- Perform other related duties as assigned
You Should Have
- High School degree or equivalent
- Journeyman HVAC preferred
- 5 years experience working on commercial HVAC systems
- Completed coursework in HVAC areas
- Must have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing system
- Universal CFC Certification
- Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations
- Must be able to pass background check to obtain government site badge
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment
- Valid driver's license
