As an Infection Preventionist on our team, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. And in return, we ensure that you feel just as valued and supported.
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Current, unencumbered New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Infection Preventionist Certification required
- Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care and skilled nursing as an Infection Preventionist
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice
- Identify changes in patient conditions and intervene appropriately
- Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
- Implement physician orders accurately and promptly
- Educate and counsel patients and families on wound care processes and related concerns
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
