We are seeking an experienced RN Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Supervisor. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a career with a successful organization, utilize your nursing skills daily, and develop personal relationships with patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shifts by monitoring medication distribution, blood draws, and patient care.
- Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
- Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents, and resident family members.
- Ensure staff adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN Registered Nurse license in the state of Connecticut.
- Previous long term care experience required.
