NOW HIRING: Recreation Aide
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of recreational programs and activities that meet the interests and needs of the residents.
- Encourage resident participation in activities and provide support to those who require assistance.
- Maintain records of resident participation and attendance in activities.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of activity areas and equipment.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being to the appropriate staff.
- Help create a positive and stimulating environment for residents.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure activities run smoothly.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Previous experience in a recreational or activities role, preferably in a healthcare or eldercare setting, is required.
- LTC/SNF experience preferred
