Risk Manager Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Vice President and Associate Vice President of Risk Management, providing critical support across various risk management functions. Your contributions will directly impact the safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of our facilities. This is a hands-on role requiring regular onsite presence and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities Risk Manager :
- Assist the VP and AVP of Risk Management with various tasks as needed, ensuring seamless operations and support.
- Conduct internal facility site visits to assess risk exposure, safety compliance, and overall risk management practices.
- Participate in carrier site visits, working closely with insurance representatives to ensure facility adherence to risk control standards.
- Provide onsite risk management onboarding support to new staff, ensuring they understand and follow risk protocols.
- Support the implementation and follow-up on loss control recommendations, ensuring compliance and effective risk mitigation.
- Assist with insurance processes, including policy reviews, claims support, and communication with carriers.
- Monitor risk management performance and facilitate internal communications regarding safety and risk updates.
- Coordinate and deliver risk management trainings for facility staff to promote safety awareness and compliance.
- Conduct accident investigations (non-clinical) to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Participate in safety committees, providing insights and recommendations to enhance safety protocols.
- Create and maintain risk management reports for internal use and review by senior leadership.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing and organizing documentation related to risk management activities.
