Job Description:
As a Bus Mechanic at Complete Coach Works, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining transit buses and related equipment. Your expertise will ensure the safe operation of our vehicles, while also providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine malfunctioning systems or components using various diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent downtime and extend vehicle lifespan
- Analyze complex mechanical issues and develop effective repair strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required; willingness to obtain CDL while employed – We train
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience, substituting 1 year of related technical training for a year of experience
- Able to bring in personal tools and apply lubrication, cooling, exhaust, and air or hydraulic systems as needed
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions, with ability to read job orders and observe vehicle operations
