Job Summary
We are searching for a motivated, hardworking person who is looking for long-term employment in landscaping. We provide the training and opportunity for growth within our company to help you advance your career in landscaping!
You will be responsible for cultivating and caring for the landscaping surrounding businesses and homes in the greater Redding area, while leading a crew of other guys. Position includes mowing, blowing, edging, trimming, pulling weeds, and more to maintain the properties on the maintenance route.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Mow lawns with a push lawn mower (self-propelled), and riding mower
- Edge lawn around sidewalks, flower beds, retaining walls, etc.
- Trim bushes, trees, and other shrubs in a visually appealing way
- Pull weeds in flower beds and apply weed killer as necessary
- Fertilize grounds to enhance plant and lawn growth
- Rake and clean up leaves
- Perform irrigation check ups (adjust sprinklers and timer boxes)
- Blow off walkways and hardscapes leaving a clean landscape
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean DMVR and current auto insurance coverage
- Knowledge and experience in using landscape maintenance equipment (ie. lawnmower, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, chainsaw, etc.)
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and detailed oriented.
- Must be professional in appearance and actions.
- Reliable transportation to get to job sites.
- Punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude.
Physical Requirements include the ability to walk, kneel, crouch, ascend/descend ladders, operate machinery, lift over 50 lbs, and constantly work in the outdoors and all weather conditions including (but not limited to) rain and extreme heat
Experience is not required but it is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
