Landscape Crew Member
Reports To: Office Manager
Department: Landscaping
SUMMARY: Under general supervision, maintains landscape quality and assists in meeting contracts and goals of Fair Street Landscape.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs general labor and landscape maintenance as assigned by Crew Leader and/or Office Manager.
- Assists Crew Leader in maintaining and meeting quality control standards of contracts using powered and non-powered equipment.
- Assists in providing training and/or labor assistance to persons receiving services.
- Assists Crew Leader with limited supervision of persons receiving services.
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action as directed.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by the Crew Leader, Office Manager, or Executive Team.

- Employee is regularly required to stand, twist; walk, bend; lift; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance: and see and hear and communicate with sufficient acuity to successfully perform all aspects of the job.
- Employee will be required to work outside in an environment that may include inclement weather and extreme heat and/or cold.
- Employee must be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and perform simple grasping and fine manipulation and be physically able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform this job.
REQUIRE:
- High School diploma or equivalent, and a demonstrated aptitude for general labor work, and/or landscape maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate powered and non-powered equipment including hand tools, and landscape maintenance equipment.
- The ability to work as a team member.
- The ability to represent Work Training Center in a positive manner.
- A fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice on file as a condition of continued employment.
- Must pass drug screen analysis.
- Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, or evenings.
- Adherence to established dress standards.
PREFER OR WILLING TO ACQUIRE:
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate or ability to obtain certification after hire.
- One year experience in landscape.
6:30am - 3:00pm
30 hours per week
