We are seeking an Experienced Medical Assistant who is friendly and loves helping others, to work as a Medical Assistant in a doctor's office, in Jasper, TX
Responsibilities:
~Performs tasks including but not limited to escorting patients to exam room, taking vital signs (weight, height, FOC, blood pressure, and temperature) for all patients, and recording patient history.
~Operate equipment including the telephone system, computer copier, fax machine, sterilization equipment, and coulter MicroDiff.
~Providing excellent customer/patient services and assisting physicians and nurses as needed.
~The position must exemplify the core values and mission of the organization, always exercising utmost discretion, diplomacy, and tact in patient/staff interactions.
~Must understand the importance of HIPPA standards.
~Understands that the patient always comes first! Excellent Customer Service!!
~Check and make sure rooms are very clean and stocked.
~Detailed and Timely charting of patient information.
~Other duties as assigned.
Work hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mon-Fri, which alternating openings of office at 7:30 a.m. once per week, and closing at 5:30 p.m. Work at least two Saturday mornings per month from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 noon. (The week Saturday is worked, one will work 1/2 day on Thurs or Fri).
The position is in Jasper, but could be required to fill in at outlying offices at times.
Essential Functions:
~Typical physical demands required for this position are walking, sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.
- Must work a day at the Woodville location every other week.
Requirements:
**Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior experience in clinical setting required.
**Criteria Corp Assessments prior to interviewing is required. Drug Test and Reference Checks prior to hire in.

**Must reside in Texas or Louisiana at time of application and hire-in.
