Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing and communications. Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content for our website, social media channels, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Social Media Management: Help manage and grow our social media presence by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Campaign Support: Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, event promotions, and fundraising initiatives.
- Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics and marketing materials using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Research: Conduct market research and analyze trends to help inform our marketing strategies.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for the marketing team, including maintaining databases, organizing files, and other tasks as needed.
- Event Assistance: Assist in planning and executing marketing aspects of events and community outreach activities.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)..
