As a CNC Operator at Compotech Inc. , you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, utilizing your technical expertise to operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery. You will be responsible for producing precision parts according to specifications, ensuring efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.) to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and models to program machines accordingly.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and produce high quality parts.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure adherence to specifications and detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and timelines.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Handson experience with CNC machinery and equipment.
- Solid understanding of machining principles and techniques.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or related field is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
