Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with enrollment in Qualified Health Plans for all counties within our region
- Assist in connecting individuals to services within Comprehend in which they qualify for
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide centralized screening for all five counties.
- Provide emergency and walk in pre-admissions to clients as needed.
- Completing admission paperwork
- Verifying insurance of each patient
- Calling insurance companies to inquire about coverage
- Answering incoming calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Performing clerical tasks such as filing, copying and faxing
- Maintaining patient charts
- Gathering information about the patient and creating patient records
- Answering questions related to services and making referrals when necessary.
- Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

- High School Diploma

- Effective at oral and written communication
- Proficient in working with computer-based programs
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously
