The Comprehensive Autism Center (CAC) is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians/RBTechnicians to provide behavioral intervention with children 1 to 18. Services are delivered in the home, preschools, and community settings.

Details of the position: The position entails delivering 1:1 behavioral instruction to the children in our program in their natural environment, after extensive initial and ongoing training on the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our BTs are taught to deliver teaching across developmental domains while taking data on all learning targets with the overall goal to increase skills while decreasing problem behaviors that interfere with learning.
The desired applicant should be available anywhere between 12:00pm - 7 pm on the days they are available, as this is the timeframe that sessions tend to occur.
After training, all BTs who meet performance criteria, can sit for the RBT exam (with reimbursement for 1 test fee). If the exam is passed within 90 days of employment, employees will be eligible for a promotion and increased compensation.

- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Driving is a key requirement for this position to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role. As such, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance may be required, particularly in situations where alternate modes of transportation are either unavailable or not deemed reasonable.

We provide intervention services based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and our services are provided throughout Northern and Southern California.
