We also manage Employer sponsored retirement plans such as 401k and Simple IRA plans. We are looking for a Financial Services Administrative Assistant to join our team to assist with various administrative duties for our client’s retirement plans and assets.
Job description
- Serve as a trusted member of our well-established team of financial advisors, putting your eye for detail to work for our clients and vendors
- Perform daily plan administration for clients, including contributions, loans, and distributions
- Process forms and applications for individual financial management clients
- Respond to questions from businesses or individuals regarding benefits enrollment through their employer, plan changes, etc.
- Collaborate with the internal team, clients, and vendors to provide accurate and timely responses to all outstanding issues
- Provide administrative support in processing mutual funds and equities trading
- Offer a high level of customer service focusing on quick response rate and problem resolution
Our Ideal Financial Services Administrative Assistant:
- Experience: High School diploma is required; Experience working with 401K retirement accounts or a background in banking, accounting, payroll, or taxes preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Detailed: Must be comfortable with numbers, able to find errors, and work methodically through step-by-step processes to ensure nothing was missed.
- Computer Savvy: Can navigate Microsoft Office Products with advanced knowledge of Excel and learn various other computer programs.
- Problem-Solver: Not afraid to ask for help, but also takes the initiative to find answers to questions and research information.
- Client-Oriented: Communicates clearly and concisely while providing excellent customer service and exceeding client expectations.
- Team Player: Work and collaborate with like-minded team members while taking charge of personal work and getting things done independently. Willing to assist our group medical insurance line of business during their busy times.
