We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Dental Call Center Scheduler to join our team! In this role, you will work in our on-site call center and be the first point of contact for our patients, handling all scheduling needs via phone and other communication channels. Your work will ensure our patients receive timely and efficient care while supporting our dental practice's smooth operation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments.
- Provide patients with information about their appointments and answer their general questions about our practice.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed using our dental software (Dentrix).
- Communicate appointment reminders to patients.
- Coordinate with dental office staff to manage the appointment schedule effectively.
- Handle patient inquiries, address concerns, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Update patient records with accurate contact and appointment information.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction.
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Greet patients at the front desk.
· Check patients out, take payment, and schedule next appointments.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental office scheduling patients and answering phones.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (experience with Dentrix is a plus).
- Attention to detail and ability to handle patient information with confidentiality.
