What are we looking for in a Budget and Financial Analyst?
Provide support to the organization through development of the annual fiscal budget, supporting program leadership by providing financial analysis, financial statement and payer audit coordination, monitors grants and contracts for compliance. This position requires close attention to detail, strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate complicated financial information clearly and concisely.
Budget Financial Analyst duties may include:
- Responsible for coordination and development of the fiscal year agency budget with program level detail.
- Development of detailed budget that includes Identification of key performance indicators, FTE's revenue and expense by program across the agency.
- Coordination of year end fiscal audit information and routine payer audit information by collecting and reviewing relevant information throughout the year.
- Oversight of grant and contract monitoring for compliance and for maintaining program within the contracted budget.
- Development and review of budget grant and program budgets, managing the RFP or renewal process as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of the agency cost report and other required regulatory reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Six years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
