Role Summary:
We are currently seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team and positively impact the lives of our clients. At Comprehensive Home Health Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the independence and overall well-being of individuals within the familiar comfort of their homes.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- Cleared through NABs in the past 6 months
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to assist with lifting, bending, and personal care tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for client transportation)
Responsibilities:
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding
- Light housekeeping duties
- Deliver personalized care tailored to the individual care plans of our clients
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Aid in mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and other outings as required
- Document care provided and promptly report any changes in a client's condition to the supervisor
- Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure each client receives coordinated and holistic care
