Role Summary:
We are actively looking for caring Personal Care Assistants to become part of our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. Joining Comprehensive Home Health Solutions means playing a vital role in fostering independence and enhancing the overall wellness of individuals in the familiar setting of their own homes.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- Cleared through NABs in the past 6 months
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to assist with lifting, bending, and personal care tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for client transportation)
Responsibilities:
- Support with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare healthy meals and help with feeding
- Maintain a tidy and safe living environment by performing light household chores
- Offer companionship and emotional comfort through activities
- Provide individualized care according to clients' unique care plans
- Assist in improving physical health through mobility support, transfers, and exercises
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and other outings as necessary
- Record care activities and promptly communicate any changes in clients' conditions to the supervisor
- Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for each client
