Field Sales Representative
- Comprehensive Marketing is a premium manufacturer's representative agency based outside of Chicago in Lombard, IL. The territory will be based out of the Richmond, VA area and covers multiple states, DE, MD, NC, SC, VA and some of WV.
- Our company has been in business since 1991 and is considered one of the leading agencies in the Midwest.
- Headquartered accounts covered by inside corporate sales teams in Lombard, IL include all hardware co-ops (Ace Hardware, True Value, Do it Best and Orgill) as well as other Midwest-based retailers
- Outside sales job for this territory requires calling on and maintaining relationships with key hardware stores as defined by the company, including hardware stores affiliated with the hardware co-ops listed above
- Applicant will be knowledgeable in sales and territory management, and will have 30 product lines to sell to these independent hardware stores
- Travel will be required; up to 50%
- Job duties will be selling our product lines, product knowledge training of these lines (training will be provided), territory management, attending industry trade shows and other field sales-related tasks.
- One year sales experience preferred, preferably in field sales, but not necessary.
- Recent college graduates are welcome to initiate contact!
- Computer skills required for territory activities to be logged
- Full benefits package included in the job including bi-weekly paychecks, monthly car and cell phone allowance, reimbursed business travel expenses, laptop computer, health insurance available after 90 days, 401k, personal vacation and PTO plan, paid holidays.
- After candidate is hired, there will be a 90-day orientation period where the new employee will receive training as well as all the tools necessary to begin initiating sales calls. After the 90-day period and the employee passes all the criteria, the employee will continue employment.
Pay: $56,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year - Car & Cell Phone allowances included in pay range.
