Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented medical and dental biller to dive into all aspects of billing for our mobile healthcare services. This role will involve accurate and efficient billing, compliance with healthcare regulations, and timely collections. The ideal candidate has expertise in both medical and dental billing, interacting with stakeholders such as TPAs is passionate about contributing to a growing healthcare organization. Most importantly, we hope that an ideal candidate is passionate about making sure that detailed documentation and billing can be at the center of analytics needed to provide high quality care to the seniors in need that rely on our services. The role reports to our Billing Manager at CMC.
Essential Job Duties:
- Billing Operations:
o End-to-end billing cycle work for medical and dental services, including coding, submission, and collections.
o Ensure accurate entry of patient data, service codes (CPT, CDT, ICD-10), and payer-specific requirements into billing systems.
o Oversee claims submissions to Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and PACE programs.
- Compliance:
o Maintain compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations, including HIPAA, and ensure proper documentation.
o Stay up-to-date with changes in billing codes, guidelines, and payer rules.
What you Have:
- 5 years of experience in medical and dental billing, including Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance.
- Strong knowledge of CPT, CDT, ICD-10 codes, and electronic billing software.
- Familiarity with PACE programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in billing software and tools (e.g., Dentrix, Kareo, NextGen, or similar platforms)
