Optimal Men’s Center specializes in both Testosterone Replacement, Peptide Therapies, weight loss, as well as correcting other hormonal imbalances.
We are a new family-owned practice in Goodyear and we are growing fast. We specialize in Men's Health and Hormone Therapy. Our goal is to find a candidate who is passionate about billing and insurance. We are searching for someone that is a team player and who can step in and support the clinic when needed, as patient care is our priority! We have built a strong team that are truly enjoyable to work with and we want to find the right fit to support our team!
We can accommodate schedule requests to provide work/life balance. Each staff member gets one day off a week. We don't have two schedules that look alike as we all have different needs. Some have school, others have children to drop off / pick up, early release, child care restrictions, etc.
In addition to being able to accommodate schedule requests, we have the flexibility of approving personal days / vacations by having PRN staff that can step in and help out with coverage.
Job Duties
- Oversee and streamline medical billing processes to ensure timely and accurate claim submission, follow-ups, and resolution of denials or discrepancies.
- Manage and optimize patient scheduling operations to enhance patient satisfaction, improve access to care, and maximize clinic efficiency.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and external agencies to facilitate effective communication and operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations, insurance guidelines, and compliance protocols to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to state and federal laws.
- Utilize EMR data to generate reports and inform operational improvements within the practice.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve operational efficiency and quality of patient services.
- Address and resolve patient concerns related to billing and scheduling, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with the management team to support overall practice goals and initiatives.
- Generate and submit medical claims to insurance companies.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Review and process insurance payments, posting them accurately to patient accounts.
- Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, or discrepancies to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Resolve billing inquiries and disputes from patients, insurance companies, or providers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical coding and billing regulations.
- Prepare and send patient statements for outstanding balances.
- Insurance Verification:
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and billing guidelines.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare billing and coding regulations.
- Communicate with insurance providers to resolve coverage-related issues.
