What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk Representative position at Comprehensive Orthopaedics?
Front Desk Receptionist in an extremely busy orthopedic practice.
This position will train at our Kenosha office. Once training is complete, the primary location of this Front Desk Receptionist will be in Burlington.
Schedule: Monday-Friday and rotational Saturday.
Duties include, but not limited to: open and close office, check in/out all patients, assist patients, triage referrals, answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages from patients for clinical staff, take patient payments, schedule appointments, data entry.
Experience:
- Customer Service experience required
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- General knowledge of health insurance preferred
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and switch between different job duties
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required
